Sec. 226-1. - Supplementation compensation of court reporter.
(a)
The boards of county commissioners of Charlotte, Hendry, Glades and Collier Counties are hereby authorized and directed to pay to the official court reporter, whose work is under the direction of the circuit judges who generally serve Charlotte, Hendry, Glades and Collier Counties, the sum of $750.00 per year from each county, provided, however, such supplemental payment shall only be made if said official court reporter has a deputy court reporter under his employment also assigned to work generally in said counties and the purpose of this act is to enable said official court reporter to hire a deputy court reporter to assist said official court reporter. Said sum shall be paid in equal monthly installments by each of said counties, but only paid if there is a deputy court reporter employed.
(b)
Amounts paid heretofore by the said counties for the purposes contained herein are hereby confirmed, ratified and approved.
