Amendments to the Charter are indicated by parenthetical history notes following amended provisions. The manuscript of the Charter is derived from the city's 1968 Code as supplemented through March 21, 1991. The absence of a history note indicates that the provision remains unchanged from the Home Rule Charter of 1979. Obvious misspellings have been corrected without notation.
