Title 9 - PUBLIC MARKETS


Sec. 9-1. - Authority of city to establish, locate, regulate and supervise.

The City of Wilmington, a municipal corporation of the State of Delaware, shall be and the same is hereby authorized to establish, locate, regulate and supervise in the City of Wilmington a public market and to have control and power over all matters related to said market; such market to be occupied by farmers and truckers as defined by the City of Wilmington. Such market shall be used by such farmers or truckers exclusively for the sale of fruit, vegetables, fowl, meats, flowers and other farm products raised or produced on land occupied by such farmers or truckers, either as owners, lessees, or farmers upon the share. Such market shall be known as the "Farmers' Market."
