Sec. 2-3.3. - Offices of county clerk/recorder and assessor consolidated.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 24304, subdivision (x) of the Government Code of the State of California, the duties of the county clerk and recorder, as previously consolidated pursuant to the provisions of section 2-2 of this article, and the assessor are consolidated, and the person elected or appointed to fill the united and consolidated offices of clerk and recorder and assessor shall take the oath and give the bond required of each, discharge all of the duties pertaining to each, and shall receive the compensation of the consolidated offices as determined by the board of supervisors.

The consolidated office of the county assessor and county clerk/recorder as provided for in section 2-3.3 shall be known for all purposes in this order as the assessor/clerk/recorder of the County of Kings.

•  thence continuing south on 10½ Avenue to Houston Avenue;

Sec. 2-13. - County auditor qualifications.

The provisions of Sections 26945 and 26946 of the Government Code of the State of California, concerning qualifications for the office of county auditor, are hereby adopted and made applicable to the office of county auditor of Kings County.
