Sec. 14-1. - Duties of health officer relative to milk and dairy inspection.
Subject to the provisions of Division 15 of the Food and Agricultural Code of the state, the health officer of the county, his deputies and assistants, are hereby directed and empowered to perform the functions of milk and dairy inspection and to carry on such duties within the county and within any and all incorporated cities of the county and such other areas as may be assigned by the director of agriculture of the state.

Sec. 14-2. - Milk inspection service fees.
Under the provisions of Sections 33251 to 33261 and 33265 of the Food and Agricultural Code of the state, for the purpose of maintaining an approved milk inspection service, there shall be charged inspection fees which shall be paid to the department of health services for deposit in the county treasury. Such milk inspection fees shall be determined annually by resolution of the board of supervisors of the county after recommendation of the department of health services and hearing thereon, and shall not exceed the actual cost to the county of such functions. Such inspection fees, as set by the board of supervisors, shall remain in full force and effect until superseded by a subsequent change.
