FOOTNOTE(S):
(63) Editor's note— Chapter 21 contains the existing traffic ordinances of the Town of Chapel Hill, numbered and codified by the town as a traffic code. The provisions are set out as established by the town; however the editors changed the word "ordinance" to "article" or "section" to preserve Code format, and revised the internal section references and added italicized catch phrases, where appropriate, to facilitate indexing, reference and use. Ord. of May 24, 1971, officially adopted said traffic code and provided that the provisions thereof should be in full force and effect from and after May 24, 1971, and that all ordinances not included in such code or recognized and continued in force by reference therein be repealed from and after May 24, 1971, except those enacted after Feb. 1, 1971.
