⁽⁶⁹⁾ Editor's note— At the editor's discretion, Ch. 24, "Zoning," has been deleted. The town's zoning ordinance, adopted May 11, 1981, repealed the former zoning ordinance, adopted March 14, 1955. The current zoning ordinance, has been redesignated as a technical ordinance by Ord. No. O-84-3, adopted Jan. 23, 1984, in accordance with G.S. 160A-77, and has not been set out in this Code of general ordinances; however it shall remain in full force and effect. (Back)

⁽⁶⁹⁾ Ch. 24 consisted of § 24-1, saving zoning ordinances from repeal, § 24-2, adoption of the 1955 ordinance by reference, §§ 24-3—24-5, fees for special use permits, notice of appeal and zoning change, and § 24-6, posting of signs on land proposed to be rezoned. The deleted provisions derived from a resolution of March 27, 1962; §§ 1 and 3 of an ordinance of Jan. 19, 1970; Ord. No. O-73-8, §§ 1, 2, adopted March 12, 1973; and Ord.
